Most of the new masts we supply and install utilise sections and components manufactured by Seldén, the world leader in masts, spars and rigging systems. Seldén’s range of integrated products is suitable for yachts from 40ft-70ft.
However, we also have experience in repairing and maintaining older makes and models.
Booms nowadays have a wealth of sophisticated features and can be equipped with a variety of reefing systems to suit different boats and sailors. Traditional slab reefing, single line reef or used in conjunction with in-mast reefing – the choice is wide. Boom extrusions now tend to be manufactured relatively deep in relation to their width, allowing lighter weight with high resistance to vertical bending. This makes them perfect for use with modern, stiff sailcloth and efficient rigid kicking straps.
Once you’ve experienced the thrill of the wind filling the cruising chute or spinnaker, you’re sure to be hooked. Rigit can supply a complete range of easy-to-use aluminium and carbon spinnaker poles and accessories.
A top-quality furling system will transform sail handing whether you’re blue-water cruising, sailing short-handed or just trying to make life easy.
Rigit can advise on suitability, and install and maintain any of the many types of headsail furling, in-mast furling and in-boom furling systems supplied by our partners.
We stock an extensive range of blocks, cleats and swivels from carefully chosen manufacturers. Every item is carefully selected to provide the best possible equipment to meet your exacting needs. Wire strand rigging is well proven, cost effective and still the best choice for many owners, while rod systems benefit from lower weight aloft and decreased windage, offering better overall performance.
Fibre – specifically PBO and Kevlar-based rigs – offer a massive weight saving over both wire and rod systems and can work exceptionally well, but understanding of the material by your rigger is vital.
Rigit's professionals have a wealth of experience in all types of rigging and are happy to advise on the best system for you and your boat.
Our rope comes from several sources to ensure we have the most appropriate rope for each requirement, but our main supplier is Marlow Ropes whose range includes specialist items for yachts and dinghies, plus customised ropes specific to each application.

Hauling expensive sails around shrouds and over rigging screws is a thing of the past. Shroud rollers clip on to your existing rigging allowing sails to glide smoothly across the rig, reducing wear on sheets and sails. The clip-together system fits over plastic and aluminium rigging screw covers and are available in three sizes.
